New YAS at a Glance Published

03 January 2008

What happens when you call 999 for an ambulance?

The third edition of ‘YAS at a glance’ has been published which aims to explain what happens when someone calls 999 in Yorkshire and asks for the ambulance service.

It features a step-by-step guide to explain how a call is received, how it is assessed and the different responses we may send.

‘YAS at a glance’ is a document produced by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to communicate service improvements or changes to stakeholders.

This document, along with previous issues of ‘YAS at a glance’, can be found on other publications page of this site.
