Adverse weather: Information for Non-emergency Patient Transport Service Users

21 January 2013

Across most of the region, non-emergency patient transport has been cancelled for patients due to attend routine appointments at hospital clinics.

This is with the exception of Hull and the East Riding area where the service is running as normal.

The Trust’s Patient Transport Service will continue to operate  for patients with urgent medical needs such as essential renal and oncology treatments.

In the coming days, any patients who decide that they do not wish to travel to their routine appointments and have transport booked with Yorkshire Ambulance Service are asked to call the cancellation line, tel: 0330 333 9970.

We will continue to keep you informed.
