Public Invited to Ambulance Service Presentation

20 July 2012 18 May 2013

Members of the public are being offered the chance to find out about the work Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is doing to improve patient care for older people.

In a pre-Trust Board presentation, Lead Nurse for Urgent Care (interim) Angela Harris will discuss the work being carried out in partnership with other healthcare providers to examine patients' experiences and identify improvements that can both prevent hospital admissions and improve patient care.

The presentation will take place, between 09.00 and 09.30, ahead of the next Trust Board meeting being held in public on Tuesday 31 July 2012 at Bishop Burton College in Beverley. The main Trust Board meeting will commence at 09.45.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to find out more about the Trust's aspiration to become an NHS foundation trust and can apply to become a member at the meeting.

If you would like to attend the meeting please register your interest by emailing corp-comms@yas.nhs.uk or telephoning 01924 584035.
