Public Invited to Ambulance Service Presentation

Members of the public can find out what Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) is doing to put patient care at the heart of its services at a presentation in Bridlington on Tuesday 26 November 2013.

Associate Director of Quality Karen Warner will talk about ‘Putting patients at the centre of care: Our approach to providing high quality patient care’ before the next Trust Board meeting being held in public.

The presentation will take place between 9.00am and 9.30am, prior to the Trust Board meeting at The Spa Bridlington, South Marine Drive, Bridlington, East Yorkshire, YO15 3JH which will start at 9.45am.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to find out more about the Service’s aspiration to become an NHS Foundation Trust and how they can become a member.

1. Yorkshire Ambulance Service is holding its public Trust Board meetings at various locations across the region in a move to engage with local communities and to give people the opportunity to find out more about its work.

2. The Trust covers almost 6,000 square miles of varied terrain from isolated moors and dales to urban areas, coastline and inner cities and provides 24-hour emergency and healthcare services to a population of more than five million people.
