Yorkshire Ambulance Service Trust Board Meeting Held in Public and presentation on Paramedic Pathfinder on 20 May 2014

Members of the public are invited to find out about how Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust clinicians follow Paramedic Pathfinder - a support tool that helps them to determine the most appropriate care for a patient based on their individual needs - as well as the wider work of the Trust later this month.

A presentation on ‘Paramedic Pathfinder’ will be given by Dr Julian Mark, Executive Medical Director, and Mark Millins, Lead Paramedic for Clinical Development, before the next Trust Board Meeting Held in Public on Tuesday 20 May 2014. It will take place between 10.15am and 10.45am, prior to the Trust Board meeting at Tankersley Manor Hotel, Tankersley, South Yorkshire, S75 3DQ, which will start at the new time of 11.00am. This later time is aimed at attracting more members of the public to attend.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to find out more about the Service’s aspiration to become an NHS Foundation Trust and how they can become a Member of Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service has Trust Board Meetings Held in Public at locations across Yorkshire and the Humber every two months and these events give members of the local community the opportunity to look behind the scenes at the emergency service. The meetings include discussions of issues facing the service and are attended by Trust Board members as well as senior management.

Details of all board meetings held in public can be found on the Trust’s website www.yas.nhs.uk

If you would like to attend the meeting please register your interest by emailing foundationtrust@yas.nhs.uk or telephoning 01924 584416.
