UNISON Withdraws Industrial Action

19 August 2014

David Whiting, Chief Executive of Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: “Earlier this month UNISON notified the Trust of the results of a recent ballot of their A&E frontline members which was a vote in favour of industrial action.

“Following extensive discussions with UNISON over the last few days, I am pleased to report that we have reached an agreement which has resulted in them agreeing to withdraw their planned industrial action.

“We remain committed to working with UNISON and our focus, as always, remains on making changes to address some of the concerns raised and on the well-being of our staff whilst continuing to provide high levels of patient care.”
