Public Invited to Ambulance Service Event

21 March 2016

Members of the public are invited to a Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust presentation focusing on the care of patients with dementia, as well as being given the opportunity to find out more about the work of the Trust.

The presentation entitled Yorkshire Ambulance Service’s care of patients with dementia will be given by Chris Sharp, the Trust’s Head of Leadership and Learning.

The presentation will be made before the next Trust Board Meeting held in public on Tuesday 29 March 2016 between 12.30pm and 12.55pm, prior to the Trust Board meeting at the York Marriott Hotel, Tadcaster Road, Dringhouses, York, North Yorkshire, YO24 1QQ which will start at 1.00pm.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service has Trust Board Meetings held in public at locations across Yorkshire and the Humber every two months. These events give members of the local community the opportunity to look behind the scenes at the emergency service, find out about the Trust’s aspiration to become an NHS Foundation Trust and how they can become a member of Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

The meetings also include patient stories and discussions of issues facing the service and are attended by Trust Board members as well as senior management.

Details of all Trust Board Meetings held in public can be found on the Trust’s website www.yas.nhs.uk

If you would like to attend the meeting please register your interest by emailing foundationtrust@yas.nhs.uk or telephoning 01924 584416.
