Members of the public are invited to a Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust presentation, as well as being given the opportunity to find out more about the work of the Trust.

The presentation about the Trust's implementation of the Freedom to Speak Up initiative, a new raising concerns policy for NHS staff, will be given by Steve Page, the Trust's Executive Director of Quality, Governance and Performance.

The presentation will be made before the next Trust Board Meeting held in public on Tuesday 26 July 2016 between 10.00am, prior to the Trust Board meeting at the Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel, Grange Park Lane, Willerby, Hull, HUL10 6EA, which will start at 10.45am.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service has Trust Board Meetings held in public at locations across Yorkshire and the Humber every two months. These events give members of the local community the opportunity to look behind the scenes at the emergency service, find out about the Trust's aspiration to become an NHS Foundation Trust and how they can become a member of Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

The meetings also include patient stories and discussions of issues facing the service and are attended by Trust Board members as well as senior management.

Details of all Trust Board Meetings held in public can be found on the Trust's website www.yas.nhs.uk

If you would like to attend the meeting please register your interest by emailing foundationtrust@yas.nhs.uk or telephoning 01924 584416.
