Our Services

At Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) we put patients and their needs at the heart of everything we do so that they receive the right response, as quickly as possible, wherever they live.

We are constantly developing new and more effective ways of carrying out our core services which are:

• 999 communications
• accident and emergency
• patient transport.

As well as these core services, YAS also provides a number of other services, including:

• emergency preparedness
• private ambulances for events
• commercial training
• Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
• media service
• fleet and vehicle workshops.
