NHS 111 Clinical Advisor

There will be an opportunity for career progression within 6 months, subject to achievement of competency standards to a Band 6 Senior Clinical Advisor. We are looking to recruit Band 5 Clinical Advisors working at one of our NHS 111 call centres in Wakefield and Rotherham (Wath upon Dearne).

We are looking for part-time staff to work ideally between 20-30 hours per week, mainly in the evenings/weekends and nights. This will include a requirement to work 6 out of 8 public holidays. As a Clinical Advisor for NHS 111 you will be a Registered Nurse or Paramedic and will be responsible for ensuring that the NHS 111 patients receive a quality service.

You will have quick clinical decision making skills and excellent communication skills; you will need to be able to speak with a variety of patients. Using professional clinical judgment supported by decision support software, Clinical Advisors will provide assessment, medication advice, and health information to patients calling NHS 111.
