Equality Delivery System 2 (EDS2)

We are committed to ensuring that there is equality of opportunity for all our staff, patients and visitors and use the Equality Delivery System Version 2 (EDS2).

The EDS2 has been used by the NHS since 2011 and includes a set of 18 outcomes and a streamlined grading system. It provides us with the opportunity to work to a nationally-recognised framework and embrace positive change and fairness for all.

EDS2 seeks views to identify priority needs from patients, stakeholder partners and staff across the ‘protected groups’. Protected groups include age, disability, gender re-assignment, sexual orientation, religion and belief, sex, race, maternity and pregnancy, and marriage and civil partnerships.

Your views are important to us. We are always interested to hear how we can make our information, services and premises more inclusive and this is especially the case for seldom-heard communities.
