Get Involved

There are many ways you can get involved with supporting Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life who are willing to help others in their local communities.

Do you love driving, have some spare time on your hands and like meeting new people? Becoming a Patient Transport Service Volunteer might be right up your street.

Would prefer a more hands-on role and think you’ve got what it takes to attend medical emergencies? You could become a Community First Responder (CFR).

Do you believe that everyone should know how to respond in a medical emergency and want to raise money to help make this a reality? Why not become a fundraiser for the YAS Charity?

Do you have experience of the ambulance service and would like to offer your support, opinions and ideas to influence service developments and improvements? You could become part of our Critical Friends Network.

More information about the roles is available in the Current Vacancies section of our website.
