World Suicide Prevention Day

World Suicide Prevention Day on Friday 10 September 2021 aims to raise awareness of suicide and promote action that helps save lives.

One in every 100 deaths worldwide is the result of suicide. Each and every suicide is devastating and has a profound impact on those around them.

However, by raising awareness, reducing the stigma and encouraging well-informed action, together we can reduce instances of suicide.

Our Check-In mental wellbeing and suicide prevention campaign aims to emphasise that no matter how big or small, our actions can provide hope to those who are struggling.

Some of our staff have been sharing stories of their struggles with mental health and their personal reflections on hope which can be listened to here.
