Information for renal dialysis and cancer patients

We recognise that some patients will need to use PTS more regularly than others, such as if you are attending for renal dialysis or cancer treatments.

Our specialist patient engagement officer is the first point of contact for patients with queries or concerns relating to NHS-funded transport. They work closely with renal units, oncology wards and palliative care providers throughout Yorkshire to help improve services and create partnership working for the benefit of patients.

The specialist patient engagement officer makes regular visits to wards and clinics with the aim of meeting patients, answering queries and providing an immediate response to any transport-related issues.
