EOC Practice Developer - Clinical

As a practice developer – clinical in our 999 Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) you will have a varied role including staff development, department and organisational training and audit as well as being providing seniorf clinical support.

You will be responsible for the development, training and assessment of clinical staff within the EOC, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviour to provide healthcare safely. You will support EOC staff to practice safely and effectively to meet the standards required by carrying out regular assessment and revalidation processes.

As a senior clinician you will use your clinical and technical expertise to offer support, guidance and extra resource during busy shifts.

Essential requirements

  • Registered nurse or registered paramedic (HPC) with three years' post-registration experience
  • Evidence of consolidating post qualification practice, preferable across a range of clinical settings
  • Experience of delivering and devising learning programmes
  • Advanced facilitation skills.
