Fleet Auxiliary Site/Vehicle Cleaner

In these roles, you will undertake cleaning and other associated tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness for the area in line with the Trust cleaning protocols.

As a fleet auxiliary site cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of areas including ambulance stations, internal entrances and foyers, public and staff toilets, offices, storerooms and other associated areas as well as the removal of rubbish.

As a fleet auxiliary vehicle cleaner, you will undertake general and deep cleaning of a variety of vehicles and will be responsible for keeping the garage floor, wash points and other areas clean. You will be required to maintain stock levels and replenish appropriate vehicle cleaning supplies when required.

In your role as a fleet auxiliary site or vehicle cleaner, it will be your responsibility to inspect and report any equipment faults or health and safety issues to the relevant person/department. You are also responsible for the closing of premises as required, ensuring window and door security is maintained.

Essential requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Good literacy and numerical skills in order to complete daily worksheets
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence including Full C1 licence and able to meet the Trust requirement of no more than three penalty points. (Fleet Auxiliary Vehicle Cleaner only)
